RC Tennis Instructors - 2025
Private and Semi-Private lessons can be scheduled with one of Racquet Club’s tennis pros. If you have a pro you’d like to request, you can email them directly; otherwise you can sign up for lessons here. Lessons are available to Racquet Cub members only.

Dean Boodakian
Dean's Bio
Dean enters his 4th season as the Racquet Club Head Tennis Pro. His playing career includes 4 years of collegiate varsity tennis, 4 straight DIII NCAA tournament appearances, multiple first team all-conference singles & doubles awards, and numerous other individual accolades. Dean is currently in his 8th year as a Head Tennis Professional with the Liberty Athletic Club where he trains many of Ann Arbor’s top junior competitive players. Dean just completed his 6th season as Concordia University Ann Arbor’s head tennis coach. His goal is to foster a positive learning environment and develop players in the Racquet Club tennis program for years to come. When not on the tennis courts, you can find Dean fishing alongside his 2 dogs.

Kaylee Tucker

Kaylee's Bio
Kaylee just completed her 1st season as the head women’s tennis coach at Saginaw Valley State University following her 5 year coaching career at Concordia University Ann Arbor. She was a 4 year varsity player at CUAA where she holds the school’s career doubles win record, was captain her junior and senior year, and earned the MVP award her senior year. Kaylee also serves as a part-time instructor at Liberty Athletic Club. In addition to coaching, Kaylee is an English Professor, after having earned a Bachelors in Secondary Education and a Masters in English. Kaylee is entering her fourth summer here at Racquet Club and runs many of the junior classes.

Adam DiMaggio
Adam's Bio
Adam is a graduate of Concordia University of Ann Arbor where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Adam played at the varsity level all 4 of his years at the University, primarily at the #1 doubles position. He had some great coaching in his collegiate years (Dean). Adam is also a full time tennis pro at the Chippewa Tennis & Swim Club where he works with many Racquet Club adults and juniors in the winter months. He is an avid runner who also enjoys spending his free time biking and collecting Pokemon. Adam is entering his fourth season at Racquet Club Ann Arbor.

Gary Kade
Gary's Bio
Gary has been playing and teaching tennis for over 60 years. He served as the executive director of the Billie Jean King Tennis Centers of America. Gary has won numerous singles/doubles gold medals in tennis at the Michigan Senior Olympics, and he will be competing in tennis, 5k, and 10k events at the National Senior Olympics this summer. Gary is an enthusiastic coach and an advocate of tennis being a lifelong sport. Gary is returning for his third summer at Racquet Club after wrapping up his first full season as the Head Men’s tennis coach at Concordia University Ann Arbor.

Montana Crawford
Montana's Bio
Montana competed at the division 1 level for the University of Iowa while also completing her teaching degree in music education and violin performance. Montana is now the grade 6-12 Orchestra Director for the Monroe Public School District and coaches the girls tennis team. She is excited to be helping out for a third summer at Racquet Club and looks forward to working with the clubs top junior players.

CeCe Coates
CeCe's Bio
This is CeCe’s first season at The Racquet Club of Ann Arbor. CeCe is an Illinois High School State Singles Champion in 1985 and 1986. She was also the first woman to receive a full scholarship to the University of Notre Dame in 1987 and was ranked 10th nationally in junior tennis by the USTA. Cece coached high school tennis for 14 years with successful teams including multiple Illinois State doubles champions. For the past 30 years CeCe have been a teaching tennis pro in both group and private settings covering all ages at several clubs.

Casey Smith
Casey's Bio
Casey is a graduate of Lewis University where she played four years of Division II college tennis. In her collegiate career, Casey was a nationally ranked competitor and received multiple sportsmanship and all-conference recognitions. While at Lewis, Casey earned a degree in physics and served as a three year team captain as well as a three year SAAC member. Casey is also a part-time instructor at Liberty Athletic Club.

Isaac Herrenkohl
Isaac's Bio
Isaac will be entering his senior year of college at the University of Michigan. He spent his first year of college playing highly competitive D3 tennis for Occidental College in LA. Isaac was a 4 year high school varsity starter, playing as high as number one singles for Pioneer High School. Isaac is excited to be joining the staff for the third year in a row and continuing to spread his knowledge of competitive tennis to the members here at Racquet Club.
Emmett Shaw
Emmett's Bio
Emmett is a graduate of Huron High School where he played varsity tennis. Emmett grew up playing in the Racquet Club program and is excited to be helping out with the program for a third year. Emmett is a talented player on several of the Racquet Club USTA teams. He is currently studying Computer Science at Washtenaw.
David Loh
David's Bio
David just completed his senior year at Pioneer High school. He has been a starting varsity member on the team since his freshman year. David has been working on his tennis game with coach Dean for the past 6 years and David has been a racquet club member for the past decade. David plans to stay in Ann Arbor and attend U of M in the fall.
Daniel Jacob
Daniel's Bio
Daniel will be entering his junior year at Community High School. He has been playing competitive tennis for eight years and has been playing on the Huron High School varsity tennis team since his freshman year. Daniel is excited to return for his second year on staff and is looking forward to another great summer of tennis.
Abby Willis
Abby's Bio
Abby is excited to join us this summer at Racquet Club. She has just completed her first season as an Assistant Coach for the Concordia University Ann Arbor tennis teams. Prior to this, she served as the Head Coach at Milan Middle School for three years, ran youth tennis classes at Saline Rec Center, and lead beginner/intermediate adult groups for the University of Michigan Kinesiology Program. She is also currently finishing her Bachelor’s in Education at Madonna University, and when she’s not studying or coaching, you can find her traveling in Northern Michigan.
Aarith Veerabhadran
Aarith's Bio
Aarith is a graduate and former varsity member of the Pioneer High School team. Aarith played as high as the 2 singles position his senior year. Aarith is a long time member at Racquet Club and looks forward to helping out with the junior programs he was recently a part of. He plans to attend U of M in the fall.
Julia Caird
Julia's Bio
Julia just completed her senior year at Huron High School. She has played on the varsity high school tennis team since freshman year. She has been playing tennis at Racquet Club since she was 5 years old. She also plays flute and piccolo in the Huron band and marching band.
Braylen Kaiser
Braylen's Bio
Braylen is joining the Racquet Club staff this year. He is coming off of a winning season playing the number 1 singles position at Pioneer High School. Braylen is also a part of his schools basketball team. He looks forward to helping out coaching many of the ankle biters this season!
Ted Staebler
Ted's Bio
Ted has been a longtime member at Racquet Club and joins us for a second year on the staff. Ted just wrapped up his senior year at Green Hills where he played at the top singles flight. Ted helped win his team the state title this year by coming in clutch and winning the state title match at the 1 singles position.
